The Momtrepeneur tells the story of how my mom, Carla Schneider, invented the first ever WubbaNub and turned the product into a global baby brand. The documentary centers on a number of interviews, each of which contains their own key stories and reflections on the events of the company from conception to almost 20 years later. This film was created for one of my graduate film classes as well as for company use.
The interviews were conducted with two RED cameras in studio so that I was able to use a multi-cam setup in Premiere Pro to edit between the wide and close-up more cleanly.
An extended cut of the film is currently in post-production and will include more interviews, music, an animated opening, and digitized VHS and 8mm film to help enhance the story visually.
