In Solidarity with Ukraine highlights the work of the Knights of Columbus to provide spiritual and material aid to the people of Ukraine following the Russian invasion. The documentary film explores what it means to be a Christian disciple in the midst of war and shows how the light of the Gospel can shine in darkness. Interviews include Ukrainian refugee families and soldiers, heads of the Ukrainian Catholic Church, and volunteers from the United States and Poland.
As lead editor I was in charge of all creative editing aspects including all non-linear editing and animations as well as working with professional composers and sound mixers for the final 5.1 mix.
Color correction provided by Picture Shop with whom I collaborated with on color correction styles and revision notes.
Prepping for ABC broadcast and specs was all performed in house by me and closed-captions were provided by VITAC.
The film is set to premiere on February 26th on ABC, and will run for six consecutive weeks across ABC affiliates stations in partnership with the Interfaith Broadcasting Commission.
