One day during confession, an anonymous penitent enters Father Don’s confession booth and questions God’s existence after the death of his wife. Father Don grows increasingly worried that the penitent is becoming suicidal and asks the penitent to return on Ash Wednesday to hear his sermon. But after picking up an unexpected passenger during his ride-sharing night job, Father Don begins to face the nightmares of his own past.
Acts of Contrition served as my senior capstone at Quinnipiac University and I had the role of editor within my group. Since its release it has been shown at numerous film festivals across the country with the hope of one day expanding it to a feature length.
