Biography
When I was 10 my grandmother bought me my first camera and I instantly fell in love with the process of filmmaking. It was in high school though that I discovered film was more than just moving pictures on a screen-that there was a language of composition and different elements that all played a part in creating the most impactful experience possible for the audience. I enrolled at Quinnipiac University to be able to inspire people with works of my imagination.
For almost 4 years now I have been working as a freelancer making highlight videos for prospective high school athletes to show collegiate coaches. I cut together their best moments from the season that help to highlight each player’s strengths and abilities for coaches to take note on. My freelancing work has also taken me all around Connecticut from physical fitness videos in Milford to filming live fires at the Greenwich Fire Department Fire Ops Day.
When I’m not editing freelance work though I try to expand my own skills through books and tutorials online. I do this so that I can open improve the quality of my current work for clients while also opening the door to more opportunities. But at the end of the day, in any editing work that I do, my goal is to have the viewers engaged with the content from beginning to end and get the information or entertainment from my work.
